About & Editorial Standards
ADMIN SURVIVOR is a seasonal, browser-based satire magazine for public-school teachers, administrators, and other educators who recognize the routines, contradictions, and small absurdities of school work.
What We Publish
Each issue is an original illustrated editorial package built around one recognizable pressure cycle in education: parent-email spirals, policy panic, end-of-year triage, summer work, or the first-week reboot. The writing and illustrations are created for ADMIN SURVIVOR as one independent editorial project.
Who It Serves
The publication is for educators who want a quick, shareable laugh rooted in specific school experience. It aims to make readers feel understood, never marketed to.
Satire With Guardrails
The humor is warm, dry, and school-safe. It targets institutional jargon, broken systems, impossible calendars, and familiar workplace rituals—not students, families, individual educators, or protected identities. Characters may look overwhelmed; the publication never treats school communities with contempt.
Authorship and Illustration
ADMIN SURVIVOR is responsible for the editorial voice, writing, art direction, and finished illustrated issues. Semantic HTML carries the reading experience, while original raster artwork carries each issue’s visual scenes. AI-assisted tools may support production, but every published issue is shaped and reviewed as an original editorial work.
Dates, Updates, and Corrections
Every new issue and standalone article displays its publication and modification dates. Substantive corrections or revisions update the modification date; small typographic fixes may not. Issues remain in the archive so readers can understand their original seasonal context.
